Advanced Service
Our Advanced Service provides an expanded, proactive support package for small businesses and power users who need deeper troubleshooting, performance tuning, and short-term project work beyond an intermediate session. This package is designed for more complex software, security, and networking needs and includes:
One 2-hour remote support session to diagnose and resolve complex software, OS, and connectivity issues, perform guided configuration changes, and complete short technical tasks or improvements.
In-depth antivirus, anti-malware, and rootkit scan with removal of threats, plus advanced hardening recommendations (user and service permissions, account hygiene, patching strategy).
Email and account setup or troubleshooting for up to eight accounts, including IMAP/POP/Exchange/Office 365 and common client/app integrations, plus mailbox cleanup and basic migration assistance for individual mailboxes.
Device performance and stability optimization: disk cleanup, advanced startup/service optimization, defragmentation/trim where applicable, resource analysis, and installation/verification of critical software and OS updates; includes one follow-up check within 7 days.
Advanced network support: Wi‑Fi site assessment guidance, SSID/channel/interference mitigation, VLAN and guest network advice for small-office environments, and assistance with router/firewall configuration for secure remote access (VPN) or port management for common business services.
One-time configuration and testing of a cloud backup and/or sync solution for disaster recovery (user provides credentials). Includes policy recommendations, retention planning, encryption and versioning guidance, and an initial test restore of up to 20 GB.
Secure file transfer and migration assistance for up to 25 GB of user data between devices or to cloud storage (subject to upload bandwidth and account limits), including basic folder reorganization and selective sync configuration.
Basic scripting or automation assistance (up to 30 minutes) to streamline repetitive tasks (e.g., scheduled cleanup, simple backup scripts, or bulk account configurations).
Documentation of all work performed, a prioritized remediation and improvement plan, recommended security and compliance steps, and estimated costs for any recommended follow-up projects.
One 30-minute remote follow-up within 14 days to verify stability and address outstanding items from the session.
Not included: hardware repairs or replacement, extensive migrations or multi-user server projects, enterprise-grade network or server architecture design, ongoing managed services or monitoring, on-site visits (available by quote), or long-term project engagements — these services can be quoted separately.
